Week Six Features Black Women Political Candidates and Royal Wedding Special
New York, May 18, 2018 — Oria Media announced today the guests who will appear on the fourth episode of The Last Sip, a half-hour weekly program aimed at activating and mobilizing historically marginalized communities, on Sunday, May 20 at 9:30 a.m. on Free Speech TV. Lauren Underwood, Illinois congressional candidate; Aurora Martinez Jones, Texas district judge candidate; Jamilah King, reporter, Mother Jones; Charreah Jackson, senior editor, Essence, Darren Sands, reporter Buzzfeed and Ben Tarnoff, columnist, The Guardian will all be on the program.
Sunday’s show will focus on the surge of black women running for political office, including Stacey Abrams’ race for Georgia governor, and the use of Facebook to suppress black voters in 2016.
