TransLash, a 4-part docuseries examines what it’s like to transition genders at a time of social backlash. Following journalist and host Imara Jones through key moments in her gender journey, TransLash will feature a number of interviews including leaders of LGBTQ non-profits such as the Transgender Law Center and the Anti-Violence Project; medical professionals including founders of the Center for Transgender Medicine at Mt Sinai in New York City, trans actress Jari Jones and her partner Courtney Kempster, as well as other people transitioning from all walks of life.

Against the backdrop of increased visibility for the trans community through shows like FX’s Pose, TransLash explores where we are on transrights in 2018 and what this says about life in modern America.
